Gexpro has an Industrial SalesTeam Leader opening.
Responsibilities:
- Lead team toward achievement of sales and on time delivery
goals and monthly / quarterly / yearly commitments related to
sales volume, gross margin, gross margin dollars, claims
resolution / error avoidance, and compliance audits.
- Track and analyze individual and team performance, identify
opportunities for improvement, develop action plans to improve,
and celebrate successes.
- Facilitate team efforts in process improvements, problem
solving and conflict resolution.
- Ensure regular communications with
Gexpro Industrial leadership, including Branch Managers, GAMs,
Ops Managers, etc. across various business units (ED branches,
Services, Parts Super Center, some Gexpro international
locations).
- Lead team in developing effective relationship with regions,
branches, account managers, and customers with regard to
decision-making and communications.

Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to sales reps in areas of compliance
procedures, customer service and communication skills.

Recruit, interview, hire, mentor and develop diverse, qualified employees.
- Communicate expectations of the organization and ensure team
goals and objectives are aligned with those expectations (i.e.
promotions, new hire training, field training, proactive quote
follow up).
- Lead team in workload distribution / account ownership and
make resource changes where necessary.
- Act as a change agent and be accountable for the team
embracing change initiatives.
- Work closely with Gexpro Legal Dept on compliance issues and
new business initiatives.
- Facilitate development of productivity projects for Project
Leader.
